Jez Lowe has been writing and performing songs for well over three decades, spending most of that time on the road. His songs cover a whole gamut of subjects
including social commentary and history surrounding his native County Durham. Some are extremely poignant, and many are humorous, but all are superbly crafted and delivered.
When not on the road, Jez has contributed 58 original songs (at last count) to the ongoing BBC Radio Ballads Project that started in 2006.
His most recent project has been a co-written album and tour with fellow folk luminary Steve Tilston, who delivered a brilliant show for Village Concerts in September 2016.
Anyone who hasn't previously seen Jez will be a new fan by the end of the evening!
